What is the update regarding IIT JAM Economics 2022?
Joint Admission test for Masters is an examination on the comprehensive understanding of the candidates at the undergraduate level in Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH).

The structure, pattern and eligibility remains almost similar to that of last year. However, we are providing the complete information as per IIT JAM 2022.
STRUCTURE AND MODE OF JAM 2022
JAM 2022 examination will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) in ONLINE mode only.
A candidate can appear for either one test paper or two test papers by paying an additional fee for the second test paper.
Candidates opting to appear for two test papers must ensure that they do not choose test papers that are scheduled in the same session.
PATTERN OF TEST PAPERS
JAM 2022 Test papers will be fully objective type, with three patterns of questions:
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ),
Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and
Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT AND MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (MEQs)
In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding‐off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates (If CGPA/CPI is on a different scale, it would be linearly mapped to a 10-point scale).
Note:- Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with the required eligibility as specified by the admitting institute should be submitted by September 30, 2022.
