What are the details for IIFT MA Economics Entrance Exam ?
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade or popularly known as IIFT was established as an autonomous body in 1963 with of building skills for the external trade sector of India under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. The Institution was granted “Deemed to be University” status in 2002. Further, IIFT has been among some of the top ranked institutions recognized by NAAC ranking and was ranked as Grade ‘A’ Institution in 2005 and 2015. Moreover, being established for so many years, IIFT has successfully been able to develop into an institution which is responsible for imparting knowledge via research and training in the international business and trade.

IIFT MA Economics Admission 2022
IIFT MA Economics - Specialization in Trade & Finance Course is a non-residential Programme both at Delhi and Kolkata.
AI Proctoring Based Entrance Exam shall be conducted on 9 July, 2022.

IIFT MA Economics Entrance Exam Pattern
Type - Objective Aptitude Test
Duration - 120 minutes.
IIFT MA Economics Entrance Syllabus
The entrance is based on Basic Mathematics and Statistics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Public Finance, etc. The syllabus of which will be of undergraduate level Economics course.
IIFT MA Economics Eligibility
The Eligibility Criteria is as follows :
Indian Nationals
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with
(a) at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate [45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories]
and
(b) mathematics at the higher secondary or higher level.
• Candidates who are in final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
Important Note
Admission of the candidates who joins the MA (Economics - Specialization in Trade & Finance) Programme on provisional basis but fails to obtain minimum percentage in the Bachelor’s degree examination is liable to be cancelled forthwith.
Foreign Students / NRIs
• Foreign Students / NRIs - CGPA of 4 in a 5-point scale or 8 in a 10- point scale (or equivalent) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with (a) at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate and (b) mathematics at the higher secondary or higher level.
• Candidates who are in final exams are also eligible to apply.
Important Note
Admission of the candidate who joins the MA (Economics - Specialization in Trade & Finance) Programme on provisional basis but fails to obtain minimum CGPA in the Bachelor’s degree examination is liable to be cancelled forthwith. Such candidates should immediately inform the Institute on declaration of her / his results. Admission of candidates who do not inform the Institute of such a situation will automatically stand cancelled on 07th December 2022. No request for extension of time for reevaluation, etc. will be entertained.

IIFT MA Economics Fee
Annual tuition fee payable in 2021-23 was 1.75 lakh (for General/OBC Category) and US$ 5,500 (for Foreign Nationals and NRIs), which can be paid in two instalments. Students of SC, ST and PWD category are given 50% concession on tuition fee only. The fee is subject to revision at the discretion of IIFT.
