What are IP University MA Economics Entrance details ?
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) or popularly known as IP University was established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The university is aims to provide professional education with thrust on creativity, innovation, and continuous change. In 2021, the University was ranked 79th among the Universities of the country in the National International Ranking Framework (NIRF).
At Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, research and innovation are regarded as pillars of success. Most of the faculty members of the University are engaged in extramural research projects funded by various agencies. The outcome of the research is passed on to the students through live projects from industries, boosting their entrepreneurial zeal. The University is in the process of establishing ‘Incubation Centre’ to extend full support to budding entrepreneurs to nurture their ideas, nourish them with innovation and creativity and establish an enterprise of knowledge transfer and wealth creation. The University is committed to adopt and implement the provisions of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020). The University has constituted a Task Force for action on the same. A few of the initiatives already undertaken include skills-based courses, blended learning, realignment of course structure, and open electives, to name a few.
IP University Economics
Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test for Master of Arts in Economics 2022 or IPU CET M.A. (Economics) 2022 is the entrance examination for admission to M.A. (Economics). IPU CET M.A. (Economics) 2022 is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. IP University MA Economics Entrance Exam Pattern
Duration : 100 Questions
Duration : 2 hours 30 minutes
Marking Scheme : Each Question carries four marks
Negative Marking : One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
IP University MA Economics Eligibility
The Eligibility Criteria is as follows :
Bachelor’s degree (with 55% marks in aggregate) in the following subjects Economics (Honours) with Mathematics, or Mathematics (Honours) with Economics, or Statistics (Honours) with Economics and Mathematics from a UGC recognized University.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree (with 60% in aggregate) only for students, who have studies and passed all three following subject (i) Statistics (ii) Mathematical Economics and (iii) Econometrics from a UGC recognized University.
Important Note
Admission shall be on the basis of the merit of the CET conducted by University.
